National Deaf-Blind Child Count Interactive Maps

Use the data map and tables to compare state-to-state data or take a closer look at trends. Data is available for years 2008-2019 (data categories have changed over the years, therefore complete data for all years may not be available).

Maps

DATA CATEGORY MENU: Select data categories using the top menu.
DATA ELEMENT MENU: Select additional data elements using the left vertical menu.
COLOR SCALE: Refer to the color scale below the left vertical menu for a key to values.
CHART: Click on a state to open a state-specific longitudinal chart.

Tables

MENU: The data in the tables are also controlled by the menus used for the maps.
DATA TYPE: Toggle between numbers and percents using the buttons provided.
STATE FILTER: Use the state drop-down menu to view data for all states or filter for a specific state. Choose all states to clear the filter.
YEAR FILTER: Use the year drop-down menu to filter by a specific year. If none is selected, it will default to the current year.
EXPORT: The export button will export the full data file for the selected state and year.
